Here's a short synopsis of the most important story in history! 

A perfect God created the earth and humans to populate the earth. God had a plan for their lives. The humans used their free will and chose to sin by disobeying God. Their sin led to brokenness and distance with God. Brokenness led them to look to outside sources to fill the void caused by their separation from God. Sound familiar? 

Since that infamous day the human search for completeness continues with some looking to relationships, money, success or fame to make them whole. Fortunately for us, God always had a plan. He knew that given the choice between right and wrong they would choose wrong and He still loved them. He sent His son, Jesus to live on earth and to show us what a perfect human life looks like. Jesus lived a normal life with every day experiences like heartaches, joy and pain but He never sinned. He showed those close to Him and total strangers what love, justice, truth and kindness look like on the daily basis. 

After living a flawless life, Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice. He took the punishment we deserve and died for every sin of every person who has ever lived and will ever live. You see, God's plan to be in relationship with us didn't go away just because sin entered the picture. He loved us too much to give up on us, so He made another way, Jesus. Three days after He died, Jesus rose again, which means death could not defeat Him! If we put our faith in Him and confess and believe that Jesus died for our sins and came alive again, we are born again, made new! When we make Jesus the Lord of our life and begin a real relationship with Him, our behavior starts to change. We start to reflect His love and characteristics. We follow His example in this life and in the next life we get to live with Him forever just like God's original plan for us. And that, my friend, is THE GOOD NEWS!

Just be honest and tell Him what's on your mind, then listen to see what He has to say to you.
